Jewelry care

Jewelry should be kept in a box or bag to protect it from humidity, bright light and other deformations.

We recommend removing your jewelry when sleeping, working out or swimming/using a sauna.

Put on jewelry after using perfumes, cosmetics and body care products.

Silverware care

The best care for silverware is to use it every day. Wash each silver product one by one in a lukewarm soapy water. If you want your silverware to really shine, add a drop of sal ammoniac in water, then dry items with a soft cloth. Do not soak silver products! Machine wash is not recommended. Another tip how to make silverware shine after a wash is to put them in a potato boiling water for 10-15 minutes and then dry them with a soft cloth. 

If silverware has not been used for a long time, a layer of silver sulfide with a color range from pale yellow to black can appear on the surface of silver items. In that case, special silver cleaners are needed - for example Hagerty silver care products. After using a silver care product, wash your item clean under running water and dry it thoroughly. If you would like to make your own silver cleaning solution at home, mix tooth powder with sal ammoniac and you have a silver cleaner that is ready to use! 

Do not use abrasive brushes when cleaning silverware. Keep silverware in boxes or in their original packaging to keep them from darkening and deforming. Do not store silverware in a room, where chemicals or sulfur-containing materials (rubber) has been kept. 

Silverware can also darken when it comes in contact with some foods: onions, egg yolks, salt, mayonnaise).
